KZ-2112 EOC SWITCH Ethernet bridge over Coax combines Ethernet and CATV signals for transport over coaxial cables. It is a combination of a normal RF multi-tap with an Ethernet switch.KZ-2112 EOC SWITCH enables transparent layer 2 Ethernet connection over coaxial cable by combining an 1-to-12 RF splitter with a 2+12 port Ethernet switch and RF circuits for combining these two.
Data rate per port can be limited between 64 Kbps and 8 Mbps. When more than the programmed rate is sent or received through a port, packets are dropped. Port-based VLAN tags can be used to provide customer isolation. Traffic from cascade or subscriber port will only be switched to the trunk port to prevent peer-to-peer communication.

o All ports can be disabled individually
o Multicast and IGMPv2 snooping support

o 802.1Q tagged based VLAN support
o Tags can be attached on a per-port basis
o Alternatively port can be configured to be transparent for V-LANs
o QOS support where the class of a packet can be determined by switch port, 802.1p tag or IPv4 TOS/DS
o Remote management of the modem using standard SNMP interface
o Automatic and manual HTTP/DHCP based configuration from external server
o Industrial-grade enclosure
o Operating temperature range: -20°C to +65°C
